ashley - most embarassing
The most embarassing thing that has ever happened to me is when I was in highschool and I sat through an entire class period without realizing I was actually in the wrong class. I got my schedule and I guess that I read it wrong and went to the wrong class. I don't know how I sat through the whole class until I realized it wasn't right, but I did. I then had to explain to the teacher and then go and find my real teacher and explain it to her as well. after that day, I always made sure I was always in the right class on the first day so I would never be that embarrest again. it's also kindof embarrasing that I can't spell embarrass correctly.

who is the person from history: ashley
A person from history I would most like to meet would have to be Jesus. I would want to meet him because I have so many questions that I want and need answered, and just to see if he was real. I am agnostic, which means I believe in a higher power but I just don't know what exactly to believe. I would want to meet him and I'd probably ask, first, how exactly he was concieved, considering his mother was a virgin. I would also ask if the bible is an arredible source to rely on. I would also ask how he had so much faith to give himself over for god, and if he could help me get to that point as well. I would ask him what God was like, and how the world really started, and how God came to be. I have a lot of questions I would ask him, and to see him or meet him in general would answer a lot of those alone.

kindness
Last year around Christmas time, I wanted a kitty. I have always been allergic to cats and more of a dog person, but I decided that I would also love to have a kitten. I looked on craigslist, in the newspaper, and I even drove around the Walmart parking lot every Saturday and Sunday looking for one. There wasn't a kitten within a 100 mile radius. I finally went to an animal shelter in town and deicded that I would adopt one, especially since if cats or dogs are not adopted, they are put to sleep because of lack of supplies and money the shelters have to take care of them. I found a kitten that I fell in love with, signed the papers, payed all the fees, and then took her home the day before Christmas. They told me as I was leaving that the litter of kittens that I adopted my kitty from was going to be put down in just one short week if nobody else showed interest in adopting them. I felt very grateful that I could not find anywhere else to get a kitten and that I saved a life that day. I still have her, and her name is Esmerelda. I call her Izzy for short. She is black and white and is the most outgoing cat I have ever known. I would not trade her for the world.

practical joke
last April fools day, I played a practical joke on my boyfriend. I wanted to do something really funny and also kind of mean because he was always doing such things to me. I decided that I was going to have someone pregnant pee on a pregnancy test so that it showed up positive, and then tell him I was pregnant and show him the positive test. I went up to his work and had them pull him from doing whatever he was doing, and told him exactly that. He obviously didn't believe me at first because he was aware of it being April fools day, so then I showed him the stick. He immediately started crying and asking what we were going to do. I let him believe this for a couple of hours and when he got off and came over to my house, I told him the truth. He was very upset with me and wouldn't talk to me for a day or so, but he finally laughed it off with me when he got over it. I told him the next time he wanted to be mean to me or make a sarcastic joke, he should think about what karma feels like since he got to experience it first hand. I think that was the best practical joke I have ever played on someone and will be until I come up with something more clever. I'm usually not a mean person, but he totally deserved that. especially since it was just a joke!

ashley - about your weekend
This weekend was pretty chill. Thursday starts my weekends because I do not have Blinn on Fridays. Every Thursday night I go to my bestfriend Randa's house and watch Greys Anatomy and eat home-cooked dinner. Thats what I did/will do every Thursday night. Friday, I slept in late and that night I went to college station with another one of my bestfriends, Rachel, to go to a party and hang out with good friends I don't get to see as often as I would like because they live there. Saturday night I went to Randa's house again and we chilled and watched some movies, and afterwards my grandma and I went to Yumm sweets & eats for the first time; I got home early for a Saturday night and went to sleep. Sunday I did a lot of homework and studied for some tests I had on Monday for Blinn, and went back to my friend Randa's to just hang out. My bestfriend Rachel lives there as well, so when I go out there I see both of my bestfriends! I pretty much live out there too, but technically still live at home. My weekend was pretty good, minus the fact that Monday morning I woke up to realize that I probably have a cold or a sinus infection.

best expereince
One of the best experiences I have ever had was when my little brother was born. I was not in the actual delivery room, but I was there when he came into the world. I was so happy to finally have someone I could teach things to and someone to call me a sister. My parents named him Carson Riley. He is now 8 years old and attends Kruse elementary. Still to this day, he is probably my favorite person ever. Although he is young, he knows more about me and the things going on in my life than I do. I tell him everything. He is very trustworthy and is a very good listener! I could not imagine my life without him today. I do not get to see him a lot anymore because I live my with grandma and he lives with our dad and step-mother, but sometimes I pick him up from school or take him to lunch. For his age, he is extremely smart. He says and does things that normal 8 year olds do not even fathom doing or saying. Anyone would be lucky to have a conversation with him or just hang out with him in general. Out of all the things I am grateful for, he is the most precious. I am now sister to 7 other siblings, but as horrible as it is to say, he is for sure my favorite and probably will continue to be so. Not only his birth, but him in my life, in general, is one of the best experiences I have and will experience in my life.
